Chuck Cook Headlines 53rd Annual Met PGA Spring Educational Forum on April 14th along with ceremonies honoring three special PGA professionals
April 14th 2015 - We are excited and proud to be featuring one of the most renowned instructors in the country at this year’s Spring Forum at the Westchester Dinner Theatre on Tuesday, April 14th.  Chuck Cook, best known for his students Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner, Luke Donald and Joe Ogilvie will highlight the program.  He will be joined on stage by Dr. Sasho MacKenzie MacKenzie is a PhD in biomechanics in sport medicine and is an associate professor at St. Francis University.  He has collaborated with a number of golf instructors, including Chris Como, Tiger Woods new coach.  More details on the agenda will be forthcoming but we are excited about this special annual educational offering. Three professionals who have truly left their mark on the Metropolitan PGA will be honored during the annual Awards Ceremony at our Spring Forum on April 14th at the Westchester Dinner Theatre.  Hall of Famer and former Player and Teacher of the Year, Darrell Kestner of Deepdale will be celebrated as our 2014 Metropolitan PGA Professional of the Year.  He will be joined on the stage by another outstanding player, Grant Sturgeon of Winged Foot who won three times last year enroute to a commanding 2014 Met PGA Player of the Year title.  Finally, Rod Loesch who has served the PGA of America on the Board of Directors and chaired some of the most important committees in addition to his service to the Section as President and one of the founding Board Members of The First Tee will be honored with the Sam Snead Award for contributions to golf, the PGA and the Met Section.
