September 10th 2015 - BETHPAGE, LI—Three early birdies and a slew of pars catapulted Frank Bensel, Century Country Club, to his fourth National Car Rental Metropolitan Assistant Championship victory at Bethpage State Park’s Red Course. Frank’s final round 67 was good for a one shot victory and a 4-under par total of 136.

First round leader Paul Selvaggio, Wykagyl Country Club, lipped out a par putt on 18 to force a playoff and fell into a tie for second with Nick Beddow, Piping Rock Club.

Nine other assistants will join Frank, Paul, Nick and defending champion Grant Sturgeon in the 39th National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship, October 29^th – November 1^st at PGA Golf Club, Port St. Lucie, FL.
