- Time Period: April 1st - October 31st
- Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Head Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day golf operations. The assistant will conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
- Tournament management with the use of Golf Genius tournament software. Coordinate and help the head professional manage all club tournaments. After hours’ work will be required to achieve these goals.
- Private lessons, Clinics for beginning and intermediate ladies, for Juniors, outside lessons are permitted however all members get priority.
- Captain the PGA junior Golf Team at GHCC and coordinate practices and matches with all clubs who GHCC competes against, the assistant will attend all away PGA junior league matches.
- 3 opening days in the golf shop to help members with all member related services. Tuesday morning from 7am to 9am, Tuesdays are ladies’ day. Friday morning from 6:30am to 9am, and Saturday morning from 6:30am to 9am.
- Club fitting for students who inquire about the latest golf equipment.
- Proficient in Track Man launch monitor software to help members during lessons and fittings.
- Play golf with the members, represent the club in professional local events and pro-ams.
- Bring new ideas and creativity to the team and golf operation.
- Assistant needs to have the ability to multi-task given the high pace environment.
- Assist with management of outside operations staff to ensure the highest quality of member service is achieved.
- Compensation:
- Salary based on experience. Monday outing income.Golf course and practice facility privileges.
