Job Description: Waccabuc CC is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting members and guests with golf shop purchases, tee time management, and delivering exceptional service to enhance the overall golf experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Assist customers with merchandise sales including apparel, equipment, and accessories
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately
  • Manage tee time reservations and check in golfers
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked merchandise displays
  • Provide general information about club facilities, events, and golf operations
  • Assist with inventory management and receiving merchandise
  • Support daily golf operations as directed by the Head Golf Professional

    Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer and POS system knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Interest or knowledge of golf is preferred but not required
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
Compensation: $13,000
