The Metropolitan Section of the PGA of America (Met PGA) announced an exciting official partnership with the Tri-State Local Ford Stores. This inaugural collaboration marks a strategic expansion for Ford’s golf footprint, introducing an elevated level of integration, hospitality, and dealer support.

Through this new partnership, Ford demonstrates a deep commitment to the game of golf, while placing a critical emphasis on supporting PGA Professionals, local golf facilities, and the passionate amateur playing community. Met PGA Professionals and event attendees will receive access to a Ford concierge to provide an elevated level of hospitality off the course.

The partnership will feature Ford activations at more than 15 events. Golfers will see Ford activations at Pro-Am events including but not limited to Westchester Country Club (Rye, NY), Sands Point Golf Club (Sands Point, NY), and Innis Arden Golf Club (Old Greenwich, CT). In addition to the Pro-Am Series, Ford will have an activation presence at a variety of golf events throughout New York and Connecticut. On-site vehicle displays will showcase uniquely styled vehicles meant to drive guest engagement and memorable photo opportunities.

“This partnership provides a unique venue to highlight the ongoing evolution of the Ford brand and our diverse vehicle lineup. We are thrilled to seamlessly blend premium hospitality with direct sales pipeline integration, offering players exclusive concierge access and special offers long after they step off the course.” — John Billard, Board President, Tri-State Ford Dealer Association

The partnership with the Metropolitan PGA Section comes after a successful inaugural season in 2025 for the Tri-State Local Ford Stores with the New Jersey PGA. This new partnership effectively broadens Ford’s reach across the region, culminating in a brand-new, premier year-end event: The Ford Invitational. The two Sections will battle to be crowned champions on Tuesday, October 20th at the prestigious Hamilton Farm Golf Club, bringing together qualifying PGA Club Professionals, amateur club members, Ford dealers, and Ford personnel in a socially competitive state-team format. The inaugural tournament will conclude with a reception featuring celebrity guest speaker and WFAN host, Boomer Esiason.

“As an avid golfer and New York Ford dealer, I am excited about our expansion into the Met PGA Section this year. Launching this partnership allows us to support the growth of the game throughout the entire region. Through a variety of events hosted by the Section and clubs in the area, plus the Ford Invitational, we look forward to building immediate momentum.” — Joe Vultaggio III, Tri-State Ford Dealer Association Board Member

About the Metropolitan PGA Section, PGA of America

When the PGA was born in New York in 1916, the founders certainly never dreamed that one day the Association they were forming would grow to include over 29,000 professionals. At the very forefront of the National PGA then and today, is the Metropolitan Section. The PGA of America is divided into 41 geographical sections across the United States and although we rank only 16th out of 41 sections in total number of members, the leadership, innovativeness, and quality that has become synonymous with the Metropolitan PGA programs elevate this association to a position of prominence both in the local golf community and among its national counterparts. For the Met PGA Professional, “Growing the Game” is not just a theme, but a professional commitment and mission.
