2026 Peter Millar Met PGA Head Professional & Women’s Championship
The 2026 Peter Millar Head Professional Championship and Met PGA Women’s Championship provided a memorable week at Pelham Country Club, bringing together some of the Metropolitan Section’s most accomplished professionals for two prestigious championships contested simultaneously. Across both events, competitors showcased the skill, professionalism, and sportsmanship that continue to define the Met Section, while enjoying the camaraderie and fellowship that make these championships a highlight of the season.
This year’s championships carried added significance as they were hosted at the home club of Mike Diffley, who will be recognized as a PGA Member Emeritus following this season. Throughout a distinguished career spanning decades, Mike has served as a respected leader, mentor, and ambassador for the game, leaving an indelible mark on Pelham Country Club, the Metropolitan PGA, and countless PGA Professionals. Hosting two of the Section’s premier championships at Pelham provided a fitting opportunity to celebrate his remarkable contributions to the profession and the lasting legacy he leaves for future generations of golf professionals.
