With playing opportunities on hold over the winter months, the Metropolitan Section takes advantage by shifting education into the forefront of our activities and initiatives. The “Winter Education Series”  are weekly virtual and in-person seminars creating opportunities for idea sharing and advancement in coaching, technology, employment, product showcases, game improvement, and more, from peers and industry leaders.

The Annual Met PGA Educational Summit , formerly known as the Educational Forum, is the culminating event of our Winter Education Series that includes morning and afternoon presentations from well-renowned professionals, educators, and teachers in the business.

 

Launch monitor and golf simulator giant, Foresight Sports, has been the presenting sponsor of the event for the past two years, showcasing their performance data technology to our Professionals, and teaching them ways to take their game and their members games to the next level.

 

As we celebrated 60 years this year, we took the event to the next level with an outdoor session that featured on-range demos from our presenters.
